Altered Domino's Workshop
Altering Domino's with Alcohol Inks and other Mixed Media Mediums. Alcohol ink is used to make interesting patterns and effects. Some of the things alcohol ink is used for includes backgrounds for cards, scrapbooks, ornaments, altered books, and many more. It is waterproof so it can never wash off, and dries rather quickly. Make sure you wear water proof gloves, and don't take them off until you are sure you are 100% finished with your project. Otherwise it will stain your hands, nail, and cuticles. Alcohol ink can be diluted with a blending solution or rubbing alcohol. When alcohol ink is diluted it gives you more subtle colors. While un-diluted alcohol ink tends to give you more of a metallic finish. No more than 2 or 3 colors are used when you use alcohol ink. Any more than 3 can give you a muddy looking appearance. Spraying the blending solution or rubbing alcohol onto the paper will help blend the ink dots more smoothly. No experience needed, and art supplies will be provided. Bring food, wine, and friends! Alcohol Ink is a gorgeous art form and an opportunity for many of us to indulge our love of color.
Art Journaling Workshop 101
Introduction to Art Journaling. I will send you an invoice via PayPal for the workshop. Materials available for the workshop are a 5 x 8 Art Journal from Dylusions. $15.00
